An oral cancer screening is an exam to look for signs of cancer in your mouth. Oral cancers include mouth cancer, jaw cancer and tongue cancer. We offer oral cancer screenings as part of your routine dental exam, at no additional cost. The screening takes less than two minutes. It’s important to note that oral cancer screenings do not diagnose cancer. We use these screenings to look for signs of cancer. If we find anything suspicious, we will discuss our recommendations on how to move forward.
